Why do I design?

Creativity is an essential part of my identity. Designing products is how I express my creativity.

My imagination can go wild, and I always push boundaries by asking, "what if?". The users and companies I work for and the experiences of my life shape my imagination to create impactful solutions.

I have more than three years of experience designing for a B2B SaaS healthcare platform for digital pathology and worked at a B2C mental health start-up. I received a Masters of Information in User Experience Design from University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Design in Industrial Design from OCAD University.

My goal is to use my creativity and the skills I have collected thus far to pursue my passion for improving the interpersonal relations and the well-being of our society.

What are my values as a designer?

— Authenticity 🙌
I believe everyone is special and has their own gifts. I strive to explore the capabilities of my own talents, stay true to who I am and not compare myself to others.

— Gratitude 🤗
Be thankful in everything I have experienced including the good and bad times at work/life as it has shaped me to who I am today.

— Diversity ✌️✌🏻✌🏼✌🏽✌🏾✌🏿
It’s intriguing how different we are from each other and what are enticingly produced as a result. I always strive to get out of my own bubble to learn and understand others and cultures different from mine.

What are my passions outside of design?
